National Day Heartland Celebrations 2025: Dragon Playground Coaster Decorating at Central Singapore
As Singapore gears up to celebrate its 60th birthday with the National Day Heartland Celebrations 2025, the festivities promise to be vibrant, inclusive, and deeply rooted in community spirit. Organized by the People’s Association (PA) and the NDP 2025 Executive Committee, the celebration will unfold on 10 August 2025 from 4 pm to 9 pm across five heartland venues—Bishan, Punggol, Yishun, Geylang, and Bukit Gombak
🎉 Heartland Highlights: What’s in Store
The Red Lions will make a dramatic descent at the Bishan celebration around 4 pm.
A fighter jet flypast (4‑jet F‑16 formation) will circle over each site between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm.
The Mobile Column, featuring 60 vehicles from SAF, SPF, and SCDF, will tour five heartland routes with pit stops at each venue.
The evening ends with fireworks, drone shows, live performances, interactive exhibits, carnival games, and community art installations tailored to each district theme.
Tickets are free (two per person) and can be collected at Community Clubs nationwide starting 8 July 2025. Each ticket comes with a complimentary NDP pack!

Participants of all ages create coaster keepsakes featuring the Toa Payoh Dragon Playground—a beloved 1979 heritage landmark and cultural icon.
Passion Soul’s workshop blends heritage, creativity, and community—inviting attendees to connect with Singapore’s nostalgia through art and hands-on participation.
